CSUMB is following a Climate Action Plan that provides a road map for eliminating greenhouse gas emissions by 2030; it also acknowledges other dimensions of sustainability that reflect a "triple bottom line" of people, planet and prosperity.

The plan contains recommendations for steps to reduce CSUMB’s carbon footprint.

To get involved, take a look at the plan available on the Campus Sustainability Committee web page.

Across campus, faculty, students and staff members are working together to make CSUMB more sustainable. Their work has been recognized by organizations such as the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education and the U.S. Green Building Council. You can find information about these accomplishments in the various categories listed in the nav bar.

Of course, there remains much to do, and we all must play a part – by making personal choices to be green or joining one of the groups below that are setting the course for our university's sustainability efforts.
